About 7000 Delegates Are Going to Take Part in the Work of the First Eurasian Forum «The Commonwealth without Borders»

The first Eurasian Forum «The Commonwealth without Borders», devoted to the diagnostics and treatment of orphan diseases, will be held in Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan) and Moscow (Russian Federation) on October 27-28, 2022.  About 7,000 people are expected to attend the forum.

Format of participation: online and full-time

Site in Almaty. Hotel «DoubleTree by Hilton Almaty» (115 Dosmukhamedov St, Almaty).

Site in Moscow. Multimedia press-center IIA «Russia Today» (4 Zubovsky Boulevard, Moscow).

Scientific organizers of the forum are:

  • Association of Medical Geneticists of Russia (AMG)
  • Research Centre for Medical Genetics
  • Russian Society of Medical Geneticists (RSMG)
  • «Association of Medical Geneticists» of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • JSC «Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Perinatology» of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The purpose of the event is to create a single platform for the exchange of experience not only between scientists and medical specialists from the participating countries, but also between authorities of the legislative and executive power for the sake of patients with orphan diseases.

The initiative of AMG was supported by professional communities and executive and legislative power of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic.

 The forum will be attended by geneticists, paediatricians, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, traumatologists and orthopaedists, rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, pulmonologists, health care organizers, as well as authorities of the legislative and executive power of the participating countries.

Forum participants will be able to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of diagnostics and treatment of orphan diseases, to learn the practical experience of the healthcare organizers from the participating countries for early detection of diseases and provision of medications for patients with orphan diseases. The mutual interest in joint collaboration among the forum participants can become a platform for the development of interstate programmes to improve the system of orphan diseases diagnostics and support of genetic research in general.
