Participation in the First Russian Forum “Uniting Efforts in the Fight against Cystic Fibrosis”

The first Russian Forum of medical and public organizations “Uniting Efforts in the Fight against Cystic Fibrosis” took place on November 14-15, 2019 in Yaroslavl.
The Russian Association for Patients with Cystic Fibrosis LLC (President - N.Yu. Kashirskaya, FBSI RCMG Chief researcher) organized the Forum supported by the Yaroslavl Region Government, Yaroslavl Mayor’s Office, Yaroslavl Region Department of Healthcare and Pharmacy, and the Islands Charitable Fund.
S.I. Kutsev, RAS Corresponding member,  FBSI RCMG director, and FBSI RCMG employees V.L. Izhevskaya, Doctor of med.sci., R.A. Zinchenko, Doctor of med.sci., had their seats in the Organizing Committee of the event, and N.Yu. Kashirskaya, Doctor of med.sci., became the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee.
The purpose of the Forum was a substantive dialogue between doctors, patients, members of their families, specialists in the pharmaceutical industry, members of charitable foundations and organizations, and government officials. The Forum united the work of medical and patient sections, arranged discussion platforms and round tables, master classes and symposia.
Almost 300 people took part in the Forum, and among them were the leading national and foreign experts in cystic fibrosis (USA, Netherlands, Great Britain, and Israel). Patients and their parents were able to get answers to their questions of concern.
S.I. Kutsev, RAS Corresponding member, FBSI RCMG Director, and V.L. Izhevskaya, Doctor of med.sci., Deputy Director, gave start to the Forum and delivered a report "Health aid for patients with orphan diseases in Russia."

“Pancreatic enzymes - yesterday, today, and tomorrow” (in collaboration with I.K. Asherova, N.V. Matveyeva).
