RCMG Belongs to the TOP-10 Among the Russian Leading Medical Research Centres According to the International Ranking of Scientific Institutions The SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR)
The Research Centre for Medical Genetics continued to be indexed in the international database of research organisations «The SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR)» according to the results of 2021, confidently strengthening its position.
According to the latest data of the SIR rating, RCMG entered the TOP-10 among the leading Russian scientific centres remaining in its first quartile (Q1), occupying the fifty second place out of all Russian scientific centres and universities in all specialties. The Centre takes the ninth place out of all Russian medical research institutions.
It should be noted that the Centre continues to improve its position in the SIR ranking through the efforts of a cohesive scientific team, which allows to solve scientific and experimental goals in the field of medical genetics in a relatively short time. This feature traditionally distinguishes RCMG from the majority of research centres - participants of the rating - both in various fields of science and in the medical sphere in particular.
The staff of RCMG expresses gratitude to the SIR rating designers for the worthy evaluation of the research work, as well as all colleagues from other centres for the fruitful cooperation in 2021.
