Gold Medal "FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL GENETICS" was awarded to E.N. Imyanitov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in 2020
On October 20, 2020, the Academic Council ceremonial meeting was held in FSBI RCMG. It was dedicated to awarding the medal "For outstanding contribution to the development of medical genetics" to EVGENY NAUMOVICH IMYANITOV, RAS correspondent member, Doctor of medical science, professor, head of the Research Department of Tumor Growth Biology of N.N. Petrov National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Head of the Medical Genetics Department of St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University.
S.I. Kutsev, FSBI RCMG Director, RAS Corresponding Member, opened the Academic Council meeting and announced that by decision of the Academic Council of FSBI Research Centre for Medical Genetics dd. 29.06.2020 (Record No. 6) the gold medal was awarded to E. N. Imyanitov, RAS Corresponding Member, for his outstanding work in genetics of oncological diseases.
After the presentation of the award E. N. Imyanitov, RAS Corresponding Member, gave a lecture on "Hereditary tumor syndromes: from diagnosis to treatment", which was broadcasted on the Internet as part of the Second RSMG online conference “New technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of hereditary diseases”.
