XXI Congress of Pediatricians of Russia with international participation "Actual Problems of Pediatrics"

On February 15-17, 2019, Moscow hosted the XXI Congress of Pediatricians of Russia with international participation “Actual Problems of Pediatrics”.

The FSBI RCMG team made the following presentations:

“An interdisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with a rare disease: a geneticist’s view” by Zakharova E.Yu., Doctor of medical science, Head of the Hereditary Metabolic Diseases Laboratory;

"Targeted therapy in patients with cystic fibrosis." by Prof. Kashirskaya N.Yu., Doctor of medical science, (the Genetic Epidemiology Laboratory, headed by Prof. Zinchenko R.A.) et al.

The Congress also included the II Hippocratic Medical Forum, which discussed topical issues of ethics in various sections of modern medicine, including the children's health (the stage of intrauterine development, in particular), the formation of a moral approach to medical problems, ethical education of young doctors, and medical abortions.

Prof. Kurylo L.F., Chief researcher of the Reproductive Disorders Genetics Laboratory (headed by Chernykh V.B., Doctor of Medical Sciences) took part in the forum and delivered a report "The effect of damaging factors on the reproductive health of generations."
