V Annual Congress of the Russian Society of Specialists in Head and Neck Tumors
On March 29-30, 2019, the V Annual Congress of the Russian Society of Specialists in Head and Neck Tumors was held in Moscow. The participants discussed current problems of oncology, including tumor microenvironment in squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck organs, main factors for the effectiveness of antitumor therapy; overcoming the resistance to antitumor therapy associated with heterogeneity; immunotherapy for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
