Researchers of RCMG Published One Hundred and Thirty-Six Articles in Journals Indexed by Web of Science in 2021

On the eve of the Day of Russian Science, the Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Research Centre for Medical Genetics, Vera Izhevskaya, noted that the Centre published more than two hundred and fifty scientific articles in 2021, one hundred and thirty-six out of them in journals, indexed by Web of Science. Fifty articles were published in journals of the first quartile. As early as January 2022, six RCMG researchers‘ papers were published in journals indexed by Web of Science.

Scientific Publications of the Research Centre for Medical Genetics Are Indexed by Scopus and Web of Science Databases

Such indicators demonstrate the high level of scientific research conducted in RCMG. Today, medical genetics is unique in that could quickly apply many of the scientific data from basic scientific research in clinical practice. In many cases, practical assistance to families with hereditary pathology is impossible without in-depth scientific research.
