Participation in the Conference "Actual Problems of Physical Anthropology: Continuity and New Approaches"
Researchers of the FSBI RCMG Human Population Genetics Laboratory (headed by Professor Balanovska E.V., Doctor of biological science) took part in the Fifth Youth Anthropological Conference “Actual Problems of Physical Anthropology: Continuity and New Approaches” (25-28 March 2019, Moscow).
Speakers at a meeting on the study of modern and ancient human populations, interpretation of genetic data in the history of populations’ reconstruction were:
- Professor RAS Balanovsky O.P., Doctor of Biological Science, a Chief researcher of the FSBI RCMG Human Population Genetics Laboratory with his lecture "Phylogeography of Y-chromosomes in Eurasia modern and ancient populations”.
- Agdzhoyan A.T. with the report "Genetic history of the Finno-Ugric peoples based on the data of DNA polymorphisms in modern and ancient population"
- Kagazhezeva Zh.A. with the report "Actual problems of the genetic history of the peoples of the Western Caucasus based on Y-chromosome markers".
