The Population Genetics Laboratory researchers took part in the “Honest Rating” Public Russian Television program (“Gamburgsky Schet”)

In the “Honest Rating” program of the Public Russian Television, Professor of RAS O.P. Balanovsky, Dr. of biol. sci., (Chief Researcher at the Human Population Genetics Laboratory) and Professor of RAS S.A. Borinskaya, Dr. of biol. sci., spoke about the way the possibilities of genetic analysis were used in modern forensics; the information about a person one could learn today by his/her DNA and, in particular, the accuracy of a person’s ethno geographic origin defining with DNA.
