Recruitment for the Advanced Training «Actual Issues of Organization of Medical and Genetic Service at the Present Stage» is Opened

The Institute of Higher and Supplementary Professional Education at RCMG conducts a cycle of advanced training for specialists in the field of health care and public health, geneticists, laboratory geneticists, paediatricians, therapists, neurologists, ophthalmologists, endocrinologists, palliative care physicians on the topic «Actual Issues of Organization of Medical and Genetic Service at the Present Stage».

Sections of the curriculum:

• Genetic health as a determinant of public health. Medical genetic service as one of the key elements of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of congenital and hereditary pathology
• Current organization of perinatal and palliative care in the Russian Federation
• Organization of medical genetic assistance to the population. Prospects for the development of neonatal and selective screening. Tasks to be done
• Certain issues of financial and economic activity of medical genetic service. Basics of pharmacoeconomic analysis
• Organization of medical care for rare (orphan) diseases. The role of patient focus in providing affordable care for patients with rare diseases

Form of education - full-time, with the use of distance educational technologies. The training will be conducted in the form of webinars using the online platform in synchronous mode - it will be possible to ask questions to lecturers, participate in discussions, talk about clinical cases in real time. The listeners' computer should have a camera, microphone and loudspeakers.  It is necessary to have a high-speed Internet connection.

The duration of the training is 36 hours (6 days, 6 hours a day).

The programme is approved on the CMPE portal.

The cost of the training for citizens of the Russian Federation - 20,000 roubles, for foreign citizens - 24,000 roubles. Upon completion of the training, a certificate of advanced training of the state standard is issued.
