Restriction of Acceptance of Biological Samples in December 2022

Dear patients, dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that, in connection with the upcoming New Year holidays, there are restrictions on the delivery and acceptance of biological samples for genetic research on an extra-budgetary basis and within the framework of scientific diagnostic programmes:

  • Biological samples submitted to the laboratory of hereditary metabolic diseases to determine the level of metabolites and carry out enzyme diagnostics, are accepted until 16.12.2022 inclusive (up to 14.00 MSK).
  • Biological samples submitted to the cytogenetics laboratory for all types of cytogenetic research and all laboratories for DNA diagnostics are accepted until 23 December 2022 inclusive (until 14.00 MSK).

Please note that biological material aimed at prenatal diagnostics and urgent tests (TMS and organic acids) is accepted until 29 December 2022 inclusive (up to 14.00 MSK), by prior agreement with the heads of laboratories.

  • Investigations of native ejaculate (seminal fluid) are carried out until 29 December 2022 inclusive (until 12.30 MSK).

All biological specimens submitted to the advisory department for studies that exceed 10 working days or more will be accepted, registered and archived. The above biological material will be transferred to the laboratory and put into operation after 09.01.2023, which is due to the impossibility of suspending the technical process in carrying out genetic research.

We remind you that the duration of the research is calculated in working days, the day of arrival of biological material is not taken into account. Acceptance of samples in the normal mode will resume from 09.01.2023.

We also inform you that from 26.12.2022 the initial consultation of patients on the budget will not be held, in connection with the completion of the State task for 2022.

26.12-2022 - 28.12.2022 – from 9.00 till 17.00

29.12.2022 – from 9.00 till 14.00
