According to the results of the elections, the director of the Research Centre for Medical Genetics, Sergey Ivanovich Kutsev was elected an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Department of Medical Sciences, majoring in Medical Genetics - Protocol.

Deputy Director for Scientific and Clinical Work of the Research Centre for Medical Genetics, Rena Abulfazovna Zinchenko was elected Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Department of Medical Sciences, majoring in Medical Genetics – Protocol.
