Medical Genetics NGS 2020-21 Conference successfully concluded

Focus of MGNGS'20-21 Conference was on the discussion of current opportunities for diagnosing hereditary pathologies using mass parallel sequencing (NGS) technologies. It addressed relevant issues of bioinformatic analysis and clinical interpretation of data.

This year 242 participants have attended the Conference from 17 cities of 3 countries and 69 institutions. The research agenda included the following sections: clinical genetics, new approaches in NGS oncology diagnosis, NGS multifaceted, NGS data bioinformatic analysis, finding new solutions in medical genetics, and PGT.

Most respondents to the question "What did you like about the Conference?" mentioned the way the event was arranged, measures against the Covid-19, coordinated work of the organizing team, communication, atmosphere, exchange of experience between experts, a lot of new information, the general level of presentations and discussions, lively interaction with colleagues, the research agenda, and creative approach to the arrangement.
