Annual Conference «Topical Questions of Ophthalmology»

On November 18, 2022, the V-th annual scientific practical conference «Actual Questions of Ophthalmology» was held in Moscow, which was attended by leading specialists-ophthalmologists of Russia.

The event was organized by:

• The General Medical Directorate of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation
• Central State Medical Academy of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation
• Clinical Hospital of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation

Conference Supervisor:

Ioshin Igor Eduardovich, Holder of an Advanced Doctorate in Medical Sciences, professor, doctor of the highest category, ophthalmo-surgeon, Head of the ophthalmological centre of the Clinical Hospital of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, chief associate ophthalmologist of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, professor of the department of ophthalmology of the Russian medical academy of continuous professional education of the Ministry of Healthcare of Russia (Moscow).

Vitaliy Kadyshev, PhD, senior researcher of the genetic epidemiology laboratory at RCMG, head of the ophthalmo-genetics department of the Institute of Higher and Supplementary Professional Education at RCMG, head of the scientific and clinical centre of ophthalmo-genetics at RCMG, within the section «Diagnostics and Therapy» gave a report on «Ophthalmogenetics: from Diagnosis to Treatment». The report deserved the attention of colleagues and was awarded with the gratitude of the scientific director of the conference.

The conference programme included topical issues of paediatric ophthalmology, ophthalmic surgery, diagnostics and rehabilitation, glaucoma and other diseases affecting the visual organs.
