Sergey Kutsev, Director of the Research Centre for Medical Genetics, Was Appointed as Deputy Chairman of Higher Attestation Commission (HAC)

Mikhail Mishustin, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, signed an order to approve a new composition of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) on April 22, 2022.

Sergey Kutsev, Director of the Research Centre for Medical Genetics, Chief External Expert in medical genetics of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, corresponding member of RAS, was appointed as a new member of HAC in the position of Deputy Chairman.

The personnel of HAC is normally formed from the leading experts in any field of science, technology, education and culture. The Commission is responsible for awarding academic degrees and titles.

The term of office of the members of HAC is four years.
