1,914 doctors and scientists from all over Russia attended the nationwide ORPHANICS Conference
The event focused on the routing of patients, neonatal screening of immunodeficiency conditions and rare diseases, orphan's alertness in the practice of subspecialists - cardiologists and rheumatologists. The Conference was attended by Sergey KUTSEV, President of the Medical Geneticists Association, Director of FSBI Academician N.P. Bochkov Research Centre for Medical Genetics, Chief visiting expert in medical genetics of the Russian Ministry of Health; Alexander RUMYANTSEV, President of Dmitry Rogachev Scientific Research Institute of Pediatrics and Chief Pediatrician of the Moscow Health Department; Maria SHKOLNIKOVA, President of the Russian Association of Pediatric Cardiologists, Scientific Director of Y.E. Veltishchev Pediatrics Research Institute, Chief visiting expert in pediatrics of the Russian Ministry of Health, Ekaterina ALEKSEYEVA Director of N.F. Filatov Clinical Institute of Children's Health, the chief visiting children's rheumatologist of the Russian Ministry of Health, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and other leading Russian experts and scientists.
The Medical Geneticists Association and the non-profit partnership Society organized ORPHANICS Nationwide Multimedia Conference for Development of Medicine and Public Health.
The FSBI Academician N.P. Bochkov Research Centre for Medical Genetics and the Orphanet International Consortium supported the Conference.
